Drowning is silent
and fast.
Most of it happens when a child slips away for what felt like a second. Fences help. Swim lessons help. Supervision helps most of all.
What none of them catch is the gap, the moment you look down at your phone, step inside for a towel, or turn around to grab a drink.
WaterWatch is a final layer, meant to sit alongside the others rather than replace any of them.
If you're looking for something to supervise in your place, this isn't it.
Why I built
WaterWatch.
I grew up on the water. Water ski team, lakes every weekend, always one of the first kids in and one of the last ones out. But I also grew up in a community that was impacted by drowning.
The idea for WaterWatch hit me in college. From that moment, I haven't stopped moving it forward. I've self-funded every step so far, from my savings and a grant from the Texas Business Hall of Fame, because I refuse to take outside money that pressures me to cut corners or mark it up beyond what families can afford.
Batch one sold out. The families who bought it are the reason 1.0 exists. Their feedback is what sent me back to the charging and power hardware, which is rebuilt around a new power-management chip so a band that fully discharges always wakes back up. That is the version you can reserve now.
My goal is simple: build a water alarm that every parent can actually trust.
Every email to support@wtrwatch.com reaches me, and I answer them myself. Your order, your setup, a delay, anything.
If that mission matters to you, I'd love for you to be part of it.
